01:45 : There's really nothing to be said in this situation. I think about it sometimes. 05:13 : I do wonder why the Grounders haven't attacked yet. If they have archers that could make that shot on the bridge, from the trees. If they can throw a spear so accurately to get Jasper. Why haven't they just taken out Bellamy? They clearly pay enough attention to know Clarke is a "healer". They surely know Bellamy is the man. 07:31 : This is by far the most hesitation to kill someone we will see in the entire show. Bellamy hesitated less than this to kill Adam. It's not one rando Grounder making a mistake. It's Anya, the guy who outranks her and reports directly to the commander, and every Grounder in the room. It's a little silly, at this point. 09:26 : Welp. It begins. The vengeance of John Murphy. 10:50 : Pretty slick move. I forgot about the radios, entirely. 13:14 : I'm pretty confused by this. Why would Anya be looking for the corpse of someone she just left behind? Weren't the signal fires about the "reapers"? 13:51 : It's a short scene, but I really love how Anya looks just firing these arrows blindly into this tunnel. 15:38 : Honestly, like, how you gonna make that right? All the things she's feeling now is what she should have felt when she sent Clarke to the ground. Only through the lens of her own potential death (fat chance) can she even begin to feel anything at all. I really can't tell if it's a well-written or poorly-written character. Is she meant to be a narcissist? 17:40 : Embarrassing~ 18:30 : While Bellamy does appear willing to suffer some consequence to rescue Jasper, it feels like he's probably banking on being more competent than Murphy. I think he's underestimating our villain. 21:25 : I wish he had expanded on "what my people are doing to yours" or "is wrong". The 100 are anything but blameless in this. 24:28 : This is proper villain mentality. I'm here for it. 26:43 : I wonder if the magazines still only have 5 bullets? We're 2 down at least but there's no telling the state of the gun, when Murphy got it. 27:35 : I might feel bad for Bellamy, if he hadn't kicked the crate that hung Murphy. He absolutely needs to feel this to understand what he did. 29:24 : Well, whatever his motivations, I think Lincoln certainly qualifies as having sacrificed. I'm not convinced this plan is totally necessary, but you can't judge in-the-moment decisions like that. 31:42 : Delulu, as all enjoyable villains should be, but solid usage of "Grounderpounding". 32:06 : Alright, more than 5 shots, but that's fine. 32:50 : Whatever happens from here on out, Murphy's vengeance was completed. So many villains never get to see their work complete. He didn't get the kill but that would have been extra. He at least got his. 33:50 : Well, this just got spicy. 34:31 : This is a sentiment that gets repeated, all across the internet. Folks do a terrible thing and then just suggest that everyone has or would do the same. Sorry, but I think each person is responsible for their own crimes. Me having committed my own does not absolve or justify yours. 34:40 : HOW CONVENIENT. Now that Raven dumped his stupid ass, he's back on the Clarke train and suggesting it was always her. If you meet men like this, please do not listen to a word they say. 35:06 : Clarke has earned her very first point. She said something honest and shut down a schemer. She actually stood on something. 35:42 : This is actually interesting for two reasons. One, Murphy gets away, which I love. Guy is a fun bad guy. Second, the seemingly quite sturdy dropship now has a hole in it. I had been wondering what would happen if they were forced to fall back into it. The hole might even make a pretty good position to fire from. 36:06 : Bellamy does appear to be increasingly coming around to caring about those outside of the cool kids club. 36:30 : Real, man. I think these little moments of relatable honesty really make the show more than it could have been. 37:57 : *pause in disbelief* As an American, this speech comes across very American. 41:30 : So, this is why I'm Team Jaha, despite everything. This is the kind of plan I can get behind. This is the kind of leaning on delegation that I like to see from leadership. Let's. Fucking. Go.

Alright, so we're finally getting some meat in our potatoes. John Murphy mixed things up a bit. Bellamy actually learned a lesson (potentially). Raven is shot! I guess at some point people started liking Clarke more than Bellamy but it's super unclear why. At this point, he has done a lot more to provide safety, structure, and food than she has. She has basically just been stomping around with the cool kids club. I'm thinking Lincoln will probably survive, just because nobody with a repeat appearance really dies in this show.

I need Lincoln to survive because I need Monty to survive. Monty is the only real verified good guy, that we've seen. Octavia has a sword. That's promising! I haven't thought too much about the guys they found (and left) in the carts in the tunnels or the signal jamming. There's maybe too much going on to really explain it all by the end of next episode? Season 2 calls my name, either way, so let's get through one more!
