01:41 : I'm not saying a wall is the wrong choice. I'm just saying they underplay the calorie cost. 05:12 : I'll go ahead and spoil this for you : Monty is the unsung hero of this entire damn show. Big fan. 06:06 : This justifies any crime that might be perpetrated against Murphy. Guy is begging for it. 06:21 : We went from, "Whatever the hell we want!" to "Get back to work." at an alarming rate. 07:00 : Once again, Jasper takes the time to consider the danger and goes anyway. Not instinct, not panic, just straight up heroism. 07:55 : While I was trying to give Kane a chance, this is really a bridge too far for me. Guy is officially creepy and sus af. 08:20 : The classic middle management need to assert authority and then disappear at the first sign of work. 10:30 : The first official meeting of the cool kids club! 12:00 : Honestly, the evidence is kind of stacked up against Murphy. I'm trying to think of what might stop me from voting to float him but all signs point to guilty. I mean, in that scenario, where you have limited ability to investigate, what would you do? 13:25 : Bellamy loses any points he had at this moment. Absolute coward. 14:30 : I really do love this genre of joke. 17:22 : Honestly, I think everyone who voted to hang a 10 year old probably needs to be addressed immediately. I'm gonna chalk this one up to an unforced error. Absolutely predictable outcome. 17:53 : Folks will talk tras but, "No be there.", certainly works. 18:54 : It's only the 4th episode and already Abby has a signature move : Do whatever she wants, assuming nothing bad will happen to her. 19:51 : I get the sentiment, but like, go fuck yourself Clarke. It's a scared child. 20:14 : "You can't just kill someone to make yourself feel better." Could you guess that we'll return to this?? 23:50 : I think it's cool to have religions in settings like this but it brings into question the timeline. Has it really been long enough to establish? 26:49 : Man, even by torchlight (especially by torchlight??), I dare you to run through a forest. It's just unreasonable. 28:40 : I don't really know how orbit works, like at all. I do find myself wondering the logistics of hitting even roughly the same spot, though. 29:03 : For the very first time in her entire life, Abby Griffin has noticed that there might be some chance of consequences. 30:41 : The cool kids club absolutely drove this bus. It's also convenient that the writers didn't have to square any of the previous big questions. I hate when they do that. 35:05 : Raven Reyes, YOLO champion. 38:00 : I guess maybe this could appear to be a Monty failure, to the untrained eye. However, reverse engineering stuff with limited iterations just goes this way. He could do everything right and still end up here. 39:00 : So, I think it's pretty clear that Octavia is not interested in Jasper in any serious manner. It's nice that she seems to legimiately care about him as a friend. It brings me painful flashbacks that she's leading him on. 39:38 : Violent outbursts are way too often excused. Either you meant to do all that damage or you can't control yourself. If you meant to, you're an asshole. If you didn't, that table could have been a baby and you are unsafe to be around. This is always a red flag. Jumping from rage or despair into sex is equally questionable.

This episode reminded me of those stupid reddit threads that ask, "Am I the Asshole?". The options are "You're the Asshole", "Not the Asshole", or "Everybody Sucks Here". Everybody sucks here, except Raven and Monty. It's actually crazy how many shows will spend an entire episode (or even season) building up to this big moral dilemma, only to cop out at the last moment. I would have preferred that somebody had to make a decision and stand on it. Instead, a 10 year old just nopes out.

Now that the Cool Kids Club is formally established, maybe we can learn a little more about the world around them.
